Re-Solicit Virgin River Wastewater Treatment Plant Upgrades

Located along interstate 15 approximately 10 miles northeast of Mesquite, Nevada lies Beaver Dam/Littlefield, AZ. This rural community is in what is known as the "strip" area of Mohave County. The County of Mohave, on behalf of the Community Services Department, is seeking bids from qualified respondents for a construction project titled: Re-Solicit Virgin River Wastewater Treatment Plant Upgrades . All bids are due before 2:00 pm on Monday, March 24, 2025 .

Community Development Block Grant funds will be used to complete upgrades to the lift station at the Virgin River Domestic Wastewater Improvement District (VRDWID) Wastewater Treatment Plant located in Littlefield, Arizona. It will benefit approximately 562 people of whom 469 or (83%) are low-to-moderate income. The site has not had any significant updates since 2016 so this project is long over due. The industrial outdoor generator will assist with outages and avoid system failures causing wastewater to come up through the ground with raw sewage spilling out. The upgrades include rebuilding one concrete vault, installing one new control panel, replacing two submersible pumps, replacing the access hatch and door at one location. Installing an industrial 30KW generator at a second location. Re-coating the vault tank at at third location.
