On-Call Planning Services

The City of Benicia invites proposals from qualified vendors to provide on-call services for its Community Development Department. This solicitation is for a contract period of two years, with the possibility of two additional one-year extensions. The scope of services of each contract can include one or more of the following areas:

4.5: Land Use Economics

4.6: Environmental Review

4.7: Housing Programs and Policies

4.8: Grant Applications and Management

4.9: Rapid Response Services

The City of Benicia is a vibrant waterfront community located in Northern California. Incorporated in 1851, Benicia encompasses approximately 15.7 square miles, with a population of just over 28,000. The City is full-service, providing a full range of municipal services, including police and fire protection, park, street, fleet, and facility maintenance, community development, capital projects, and parks and recreation. The City also provides library, water, wastewater, and solid waste services.
