Overview
Summary

In general, the County of Sacramento (“County”) is soliciting proposals to provide professional services for collecting pavement condition data, updating the County’s pavement management system with the condition data results, and producing a Pavement Condition Report.

Background

The County has approximately 2,224 centerline miles of maintained roads. The Department of Transportation’s goal is to maintain the structural integrity of the maintained roads in an “as constructed” condition by performing slurry seals, chip seals, overlays, and other pavement treatments.

The County uses StreetSaver Online, developed by the Metropolitan Transportation Commission (MTC), as its pavement management system. StreetSaver needs up-to-date system and pavement condition data to manage and prioritize the pavement treatments.
