2027 - 2028 Collection & Removal of Trash & Recycling

Project Description: A. ADVERTISEMENT
Online sealed bids for the Collection and Disposal of Residential and Municipal Refuse, Bulk Trash, Yard Waste and Single Stream Recyclables will be received by Brookhaven Borough online via the PennBid Program at https://pennbid.bonfirehub.com/ until 10:00 AM on September 2, 2026 and read at a public meeting that will be held on September 14, 2026 at 7:00 PM at the Borough of Brookhaven Municipal Building, 2 Cambridge Road, Suite 100, Brookhaven, PA 19015.
All Bid Documents, Construction Plans and Specifications are available online via the PennBid Program at https://pennbid.bonfirehub.com/at no cost to prospective bidders.

The successful bidder, who is awarded the contract, will be required to pay PennBid Program a fee of 1/3 % of the contract award value. There is a minimum award fee of $150.00 and a maximum of $6,000.00. Bidders must confirm the fees associated with bidding through PennBid and the successful bidder is responsible for the fees associated with the awarded bid.

A bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total bid, made payable to Brookhaven Borough, must accompany each bid.

The Borough reserves the right to reject any or all bids, or parts thereof, and to waive any informalities in the bidding as is in the best interest of the Borough.
