Project Description: This project proposes to upgrade the existing traffic signal at the intersection of Huntingdon Pike/Second Street Pike (SR 0232) & County Line Road (SR 2038) located in Upper Southampton Township, Bucks County. This project proposes to modernize the signal equipment and pedestrian facilities. The signal equipment upgrades consist of new mast arms, new controller cabinet assembly with battery backup, new video detection, new vehicular signal heads, advanced radar detection system, new emergency preemption system and relocation of the existing wireless communications antenna. Pedestrian upgrades include refreshed pavement markings, Accessible Pedestrian Signals, and new countdown pedestrian signal heads.
