NOTICE INVITING BIDS PURSUANT TO PUBLIC CONTRACT CODE 22000, ET SEQ.
(THE UNIFORM PUBLIC CONSTRUCTION COST ACCOUNTING ACT)

Notice is hereby given that the Fresno Unified School DISTRICT (“DISTRICT”) will receive sealed bids for Bid No. 1325-00450, Mayfair Elementary School Digital Marquee Replacement, to replace legacy backlit marquee with free standing pylon digital marquee.

Prime Contractor must have a valid Class “C-45” Contractor’s License.

The time allowed for completion for the project shall be 160 Calendar days.

The Architect/Engineers’ estimate for this project is around $100,000 (estimate as of December 2025)

A MANDATORY pre-bid conference has been scheduled at 10:00 AM, April 23, 2026 in front of the Administration Office at Mayfair Elementary School, 3305 East Home Ave. Avenue, Fresno CA 93703 .  Contractors bidding as a Prime Contractor for the project must attend in order for their bid to be “responsive”.  Immediately following the pre-bid conference will be a mandatory job-walk of the site(s). All visitors must check-in at the school office using our visitor management system which requires ID verification via government-issued identification card or driver’s license to receive a badge and enter the campus. Bidders may arrive earlier than the scheduled time to obtain their badge.

Sealed Bids must be received prior to 3:00 P.M. on May 6, 2026  on Procureware, the DISTRICT’s online bidding portal, after which time the bids will be opened and bid results posted.

Bids shall be accompanied by a certified check, cashier’s check, or a bidder’s bond in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of total bids made payable to Fresno Unified.

The District reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, or any combination of bids and to waive any irregularities or informalities which may be legally waived.
