The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ intends to release a Request for Quote (RFQ) to AmpREVOLT on a sole source basis for three (3) commercial off the shelf AmpREVOLT Modular Battery Boxes and related accessories.
AmpREVOLT is the OEM and only provider of the Modular Battery Boxes and related accessories needed to meet the Governments technical requirements for required energy density, cycle life, charging rate, thermal management, and safety.
The Government intends to solicit and negotiate this requirement under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 3204(a)(1), FAR 6.302-1 - Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. However, the Government will consider all responses received within fifteen days after the date of publication of this synopsis. Registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) (https://www.sam.gov) is mandatory for consideration. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based on the responses to this notice will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
