RCO Bavaria is issuing a Sources Sought Notice and Request for Information posting. The U.S. Government intends to procure preventive maintenance, pre-Inspection and technical safety Inspection of Pressure Tanks/Vessels. The work performed will in accordance with German laws and regulations in reference to the Inspection and maintenance of the pressure tanks. The service location is USAG Bavaria that includes Grafenwoehr, Vilseck, Hohenfels and Garmisch. Period of performance is expected to be a base year plus four options years. The pressure tanks systems are installed at different locations/buildings within USAG Bavaria.
This notice is issued solely for information and planning purposes - it does not constitute a Request for Quote (RFQ)/Invitation for Bid (IFB)/Request for Proposal (RFP) or a promise to issue an RFQ, IFB or RFP in the future. This notice does not commit the U.S. Government to contract for any supply or service. Further, the U.S. Government is not seeking quotes, bids or proposals at this time and will not accept unsolicited proposals in response to this Sources Sought Notice.
The U.S. Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this notice. The Government will not return submittals to the responder. Not responding to this notice does not preclude participation in any future RFQ or IFB or RFP, if the Government issues one.
If the Government releases a solicitation, the Government will synopsize it on the Government-wide Point of Entry. It is the responsibility of potential offerors to monitor the Government wide Point of Entry for additional information pertaining to this requirement. The anticipated NAICS code is 811310 Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment Repair &
Maintenance. Attached is the Draft Performance Work Statement (PWS) and applicable attachments for the new requirement, the Draft PWS is subject to change.
In response to this Sources Sought Notice, please provide the following:
Interested vendors are also encouraged to submit the own questions along with a copy of their capability statement.
1. Do you have the capabilities to perform the work required for this effort?
2. Would you employ subcontractors to complete the requirement? If so, for what locations?
3. Do you have teams able to perform the work in each one of the locations stated in the PWS (Grafenwoehr, Vilseck, and Hohenfels, and Garmisch)
4. Will removal of the services in Garmisch would drastically reduce the proposed prices for this effort? If so, please describe why?
5. Are there any concerns with cost, price or schedule?
6. Are there any concerns that you foresee with this requirement at all?
7. Would your company benefit from using the Government Purchase Card (GPC) as a method of payment? Would using the GPC reduce the proposed process for this requirement?
8. Based on the draft PWS, what would be rough estimate for this requirement?
