NOTICE TO BIDDERS
Notice is hereby given that sealed bids will be received by the Township Purchasing Agent for
the Township of Freehold, County of Monmouth, State of New Jersey on Friday, February 13,
2026 at 10:00 a.m. local prevailing time at the Municipal Building, 1 Municipal Plaza, Freehold,
New Jersey at which time and place bids will be opened and read in public for the following bid:
2026 Michael J. Tighe Park Basketball Court Improvements Project which includes but is
not limited to reconstruction of the existing basketball courts, removal and replacement of
basketball hoop systems and footings, installation of retaining wall bench seating along a
portion of the perimeter of the courts, replacement of concrete curb, drainage
improvements, court resurfacing and line striping. All proposed work is located at Michael
J. Tighe Park at 65 Georgia Road, Freehold Township, New Jersey 07728.
Specifications and other bid information may be obtained at the office of the Freehold Township
Purchasing Agent, One Municipal Plaza, Freehold, N.J., during regular business hours 8:30 am –
4:30 pm. A non-refundable fee of $132.00 will be required for each set of plans and specifications.
Bids must be made on the proposal forms included with the bid specification, be enclosed in a
sealed package bearing the name and address of the bidder and “Bid Title, Name and Contract” on
the outside, addressed to the Purchasing Agent at the address above.
Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of P.L.1975, c.127 (N.J.A.C. 17:27-1 et
seq.), N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq.; N.J.S.A. 19:44-20.5 et seq. The bid award will be made to the
lowest possible bidder in accordance with applicable law.
