Description

DLA-Aviation is issuing this Sources Sought synopsis as a means of conducting market research. The government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302 for a CNC Controller & Components for a 2 Axis Lodge & Shipley Lathe Machine Retrofit with a quantity of 1 each and a contract completion of 112 days ARO.







The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 333517. Complete technical data package DLA-A-VIBB 25-65-1069 including all design, lubrication, supplies, and labor requirement will be included as a part of the solicitation.



Request for Proposal SPE4A8-25-Q-0026 is anticipated to issue around February 18, 2025.



FOB will be at Destination /Inspection at Destination/Acceptance at Destination. This solicitation will be made under FAR 13.5 procedures.





The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability by responding to this posting.

NO FUNDS ARE AVAILABLE TO PAY FOR PREPARATION OF RESPONSES TO THIS ANNOUNCEMENT. ANY INFORMATION SUBMITTED BY RESPONDENTS TO THIS TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION IS STRICTLY VOLUNTARY. However, all responses no later than March 18, 2025, will be evaluated by the government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
