The purpose of this Request for Proposal is to solicit sealed proposals to establish a contract or contracts through competitive negotiation for the provision of Mental Health and Wellness Services for the James City County Police Department by the County of James City, Virginia.
1.2. In order to maintain objectivity and ensure a high level of impartiality and professional services, Offeror
shall not become a member of any Employee organizations associated with the James City County Police Department.
James City County is seeking proposals for a licensed Mental Health Provider in support of our Police Department. The County seeks to provide all sworn police department personnel with annual
one on one “mental wellness education” sessions with a licensed mental health provider in order to assist its officers with their own mental wellness by presenting pre-arranged mental health content/
material and, in addition, provide the officer with a private one on one venue with which the officer can elect to take the opportunity to engage and share any personal psychological/mental/emotional
issues the officer has been experiencing.
