USCG BASE KETCHIKAN has awarded a sole course firm fixed price purchase order for repair and replacement of multiple backflow preventor valves on its premises.
This action was awarded pursuant to FAR 13.106-1(b)(i). The vendor chosen for this task was the only one willing to provide a materials list and perform the necessary work, while a second local vendor has no availability and lacks certified backflow technicians.
