USCG BASE KETCHIKAN has awarded a sole course firm fixed price purchase order for repair and replacement of multiple backflow preventor valves on its premises.

The vendor chosen for this task was the only one willing to provide a materials list and perform the necessary work, while a second local vendor has no availability and lacks certified backflow technicians.
