(Industrial Gas Supplies)
The NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center (FLC) Norfolk, Contracting Department, Norfolk, VA 23511-3392 intends to award a firm fixed-price contract for industrial specialty gases and cylinder rental to NCTAMS LANT DET Cutler, Maine. The industrial gases and cylinder rentals include, but are not limited to the following: Liquid Nitrogen 3644CF, Oil Pumped Nitrogen Gas 230CF, Water Pumped Nitrogen Gas 304CF, Sulfur Hexafluoride 200SZ, Argon 336, Argon 125CF, Oxygen 282 Acetylene 4, Acetylene 5, C25 80CF and Carbon Dioxide, Gas Tri-Mix (90% He, 7.5% Ar, 2.5% CO2). All industrial gases except Carbon Dioxide shall be delivered in high pressure cylinders. Vendor shall include all FOB destination delivery, special delivery, handling fees, federal, state and local fees to Cutler, Maine. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial products or commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will be issued. The requirement covers the procurement and delivery of the requested supplies replacement
The requirement was solicited on 9 December- 11 December 2025, amended on 12 December to reflect a closing date of 15 December 2025. The items that will be procured are Liquid Nitrogen 3644CF, Oil Pumped Nitrogen Gas 230 CF, Water Pumped Nitrogen Gas 304 CF, Sulfur Hexafluoride Gas 200 SZ, Argon Gas 336, Oxygen Gas 282, Acetylene Gas 4, Acetylene Gas 5, C25 Mix 80CF, and Bulk Liquid Carbon Dioxide to include all FOB Destination delivery, special delivery, and hazardous material fees.
The attachment outlines the specifications for this requirement. The items being procured must meet or exceed the minimum specifications outlined.
Any potential contractor capable of demonstrating that it is qualified to perform the work to the required standards and that wishes to make a competitive quote for the contract should submit a capability statement in beta.SAM.gov. Through its submission, the vendor acknowledges the requirement that a prospective awardee must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to award, during performance, and through final payment of any contract resulting from this solicitation, except for award to foreign vendors for work to be performed outside the United States. Lack of registration in the SAM database will make a vendor ineligible for award.
The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 325120–Industrial Gas Manufacturing. The Size Standard is 1,200 employees. The product service code (FSC) is 6830- Gases: Compressed and Liquefied.
The supplies are to be delivered beginning 21 December 2025- 20 December 2026. This contract is has a total of four Option Years. Completion of this contract is 20 December 2030. The Option Years are up on the Request For Quote.
