The Iowa Department of Transportation is seeking bids for: The Removal of Tight Wire Festoon and Installation of C-Track Festoon System at the Maquoketa and DeWitt Maintenance Garage.
Contract Award It is the intent of the Iowa DOT to award the contract to the responsible contractor whose submitted quote is the most advantageous to the Iowa DOT, cost and other factors considered. Other factors include, but are not limited to: meeting or exceeding mandatory requirements, proposed staffing, and meeting required time schedule. Other factors may also include a comprehensive review of bidders past work performance, and work capacity. Start date - Upon Notice to Proceed End date- 03/31/2025 Contractor is required to provide all materials, equipment and labor for the removal and replacement of material as per plans/specifications outlined on the Line Item tab. This includes the disposal of all debris off site. Site Visits: A site visit is at the discretion of the contractor but is highly recommended. Site visits must be completed prior to March 13, 2025 at 1:00PM. CT To schedule a site visit contractors must contact Tanner Thomsen at tanner.thomsen@iowadot.us with a date and time of when you want a site visit. Contractors will be required to bring their own equipment needed for the site visit. Telephone, email or facsimile responses shall not be considered. Please post questions to ION Wave before the question cutoff deadline of 03/13/2025 at 1:00PM CT. Questions or requests for site visit received after this date and time will not be accepted. This is a tax exempt project. The various project locations are NOT tied. Awards will be made for each line item listed in the solicitation. |
