Klamath County Public Works - 2025 WHEEL TRENCHER & OPERATOR SERVICES

The Klamath County Board of Commissioners invite written sealed bids for work attendant to WHEEL TRENCHER & OPERATOR SERVICES for the Department of Public Works. The work generally consists of providing a wheel trencher and operator for trenching work on Silver Lake Road in the fall of 2025.

Plans, Supplemental Standard Specifications and Special Provisions may be obtained from the Klamath County Bids Posting Website ( https://www.klamathcounty.org/bids.aspx ).

As per the bid documentation all written bids shall be delivered to Sandra Cox, Public Works Manager, Klamath County Public Works Department, 305 Main St., Klamath Falls, OR 97601. No bid will be considered if received later than 10:00 A.M., 5/20/2025. This will not be a public bid opening however the bids will be opened and reviewed on the aforementioned date. Bids submitted by facsimile transmission will not be accepted. There will be no pre-bid meeting for this project.

All contractors and subcontractors performing work on this project must be licensed with the Construction Contractors Board in accordance with ORS Chapter 701.

Klamath County will reject any bid not in compliance with all prescribed public bidding procedures and requirements, and may for good cause, reject any or all bids upon a finding of Klamath County it is in the public interest to do so. Klamath County reserves the right to waive informalities. All bids are subject to Oregon Law bid procedures. Upon notice of “intent to award”, a (7) seven-day protest period is available for bidders to submit a written protest of such intent to award by Klamath County.

The bidder must indicate on his bid whether bidder is a resident bidder as defined in ORS 279A.120. Bidder must comply with Equal Employment Opportunity Compliance requirements.
