The intent of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to solicit proposals from VDOT prequalified appraisers to provide real estate appraisal and/or appraisal review services on an “as needed basis” for the City of Suffolk. Services may include, but are not limited to, valuations of property related to the purchase, sale or lease of property, improved and unimproved right-of-way, drainage, utility, access and other easement valuations. Award may be made to one or more Offerors. Consultants will normally be selected on a rotating basis for individual tasks; however, the City, at its sole discretion, reserves the right to select consultants out of rotation when deemed to be in the best interest of the City.
