The City of Oconomowoc is soliciting bids from qualified contractors for the 2025 streets project. Work to include: asphalt and concrete pavement removal, pulverizing, milling, shaping and grading; removal and replacement of concrete curb and gutter; removal and replacement of sidewalks; removal and replacement of pedestrian curb ramps; water main improvements and relay; sanitary and storm sewer improvements; structure rim adjustments; parking lot pavement replacement; and incidental construction.
A formal pre-bid meeting to examine the site will not be held. The site may be viewed at the contractor’s convenience.
Sealed bids will be received online at QuestCDN by the City of Oconomowoc until 11:30 am on Thursday, March 6, 2025 at which time they will be opened and publicly read aloud in conference room 3, 2

To submit an online bid (which is required for this project) you must download the project bid document file from QuestCDN which will add you to the plan holders list and gain you access to online bidding. Bids shall be accompanied by bid security made payable to owner in an amount of 5% of bidder's maximum bid price in the form of a bid bond, certified check or cashier’s check. Bidder shall be required to submit a Qualification Statement to owner with its bid. Owner's decision as to qualification of bidder shall be final. Contractor shall complete and submit Section 00 45 13-Bidder’s Qualification Statement bound within the project manual. A bidder’s qualification statement must be delivered to City of Oconomowoc Department of Public Works at least 3 days before the bid opening date. Bidder awarded a contract for the work shall be required to furnish a performance bond and a payment bond in the full amount of the contract price. Bid and bid security may not be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after the bid deadline. Bid security shall be forfeited to City of Oconomowoc if the bidder is awarded the work and fails to execute the agreement and furnish 100% performance and payment bonds.
This project is part of the Local Road Improvement Program (LRIP). The City of Oconomowoc will be funding the remaining portion of the project.
Owner reserves the right to postpone the award of the contract for a period not exceeding 60 days from the date of bid opening. Bids shall remain firm for that period of time. Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any and all informalities not involving price, time, or changes in the work and the right to disregard all non-conforming, non-responsive, unbalanced or conditional bids.
