RFQ#FPC-26-06: UAA Campus Wide Roofing Fall Protection

Electronically submitted quotes will be received from qualified, responsible firms for furnishing all labor, material, plant and equipment to accomplish the Work described below in accordance with the terms and conditions contained in this Request for Quote.

A Pre-Bid Conference will be held February 4 th at 10:00 AM, on site, at the UAA Facilities Planning & Construction Office located at 3300 Seawolf Drive, Room 104, Anchorage, AK  99508.

The work consists of: Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, and equipment to upgrade roof safety support systems on Gordon Hartlieb Hall and the Administration/Humanities Building. The scope includes a new roof hatch, ladders, stairs, and tie-off anchors as fully described in drawings and specifications.

Specified Dates are as follows:
Pre-Bid Conference: February 6, 2026 10:00 AM
Alternate Brand Requests: Due February 6, 2026 2:00 PM
Questions Due: February 11, 2026 2:00 PM
Quotes Due: February 18, 2026 2:00 PM

Should your quote be accepted, work is to start upon receipt of the Notice to Proceed and be diligently prosecuted to completion by July 31, 2026.

Quote security is required to be submitted with each quote in accordance with the Instructions.  State law requires a quote or offer to be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible "Alaska Bidder" after bidder’s preferences and Alaska Products Preferences have been applied.  Further instructions are contained within the Instructions section.

Payment & Performance Bonds are required for all construction projects over $100,000.

Work performed in conjunction with this contract is subject the State of Alaska Prevailing Wage Determination:
