Asbrstos Abatement

JB 2025-001(A) Asbestos and Abatement as follows:

1 ^st Floor – Clean up the floor after a 4 ft x 3 ft section of ceiling (previously tested positive for asbestos) fell onto an office floor. Pictures are attached.

2 ^nd Floor - Remove a Wall (10 ft in height x 6 ft in width x 2 ft in depth) to access the pipe that needs to be abated from asbestos. Pipe that needs to be abated is 15 feet in length.

Upon contractor being awarded for project, you will have 72 hours to notify DOL for work to be done, Please send all paperwork for us to approve. 3 ^rd party air monitoring company will be the responsibility/& hired by the abatement contractor.

Project will need to be finished within 10 days after starting on site.

All quotes must be submitted on the attached RFQ form – no other quotes will be accepted. This RFQ is due back by 4:00 pm on April 25, 2025 – any quotes received after this date and time will not be considered. Also, please make sure all required Certificates (Liability, Disability, Worker's Comp and DOL Certificate of Registration) are submitted with the RFQ.

Vendors questions will be accepted by email up to 4:00pm on 4/18/2025

Responses will be distributed to all prospective quoters. Vendors responses are due April 21, 2025 at 4:00 pm.

RFQ Forms must be filled out electronically and emailed along with all required Certificates to Scott.Sepela @parks.ny.gov and LIEngineering@parks.ny.gov . Hand written RFQ Forms will not be accepted.
