Answer: There are 16 SLXD1-G58 Transmitters in the BOM, Wireless body
pack.
3.
The 16 channels of new wireless receivers are shown connected using
both analog and Dante on the riser diagram. How are the analog
connections intended to be landed on the sound system inputs? Please
provide a one-line diagram indicating the complete wiring schematic
and/or operational intent.
Answer: Use the existing patch panel to land the microphones as per the
drawings.
4.
The new wireless equipment is shown being added to an existing
rack of SLXD wireless equipment. What about the four channels of existing
wireless in the Main Rack? Is the new wireless equipment intended to
replace or augment the existing equipment?
Answer: It would be augmented, but check with client.
5.
Is this wireless rack intended to be mobile? If so, what antennas shall
be used when the rack is moved?
Answer: It is in the existing rack, not mobile. Use the existing antennas.
6.
Would the District wish to take advantage of the new SLXD+ wireless
equipment’s optional rechargeable battery packs and drop-in charge docks
for maximum performance?
Answer: Yes, if it is being replaced by the SLXD+.
7.
We would recommend the RF VENUE D-ARC as the best performing
wireless antenna over the specified Shure ½ waves in this situation. Is this
acceptable?
Answer: Please use the Shure since this is what the client requested, but
suggest once awarded.
8.

containing (4) EtherCon RJ45 connectors attached over the old video jack
location meet this requirement?
Answer: Yes, since it’s an existing IO Panel.

9.
Sheet AV501, Detail 6 shows plate PR001, to be installed over center
stage, but the existing projector is mounted at the sound booth. Is this new
plate intended for a new projector to be added in the future?
Answer: Yes.
10.
A new Listen Technologies LT-800 ALS transmitter is shown replacing
the old Williams Sound ALS unit, but no ALS receivers or other accessories
are specified. What quantity and model receiver is required, and what
accessories shall be included?
Answer: The accessories are in the BOM, along with the LR-4200-072 Qty 16
which are the receivers, universal eye pieces, and lanyards.
11.
The artist's representation of the new sound system on the plans
cover page shows the center speaker cluster intact, which makes sense. The
existing system is set up as LCR, and the center speaker cluster is high
quality. However, the riser diagram does not include the center cluster. Will
the center cluster be removed along with the left/right speakers, or not?
Answer: The center cluster is existing and wired to the mixer. This does not
change. The drawings only show what is being added or changed, not
necessarily the existing system.
12.
Will the schedule allow for the above stage work to be completed
prior to the stage being demoed and repaired? If not, who will be
responsible for protecting the stage?
Answer: The Contractor shall include all necessary protection of the stage
during construction. The District will consider reasonable sequencing
suggestions from the Contractor to expedite the schedule; however,
protection of existing conditions remains the Contractor’s responsibility.
