RFB-2826 Polypropylene Manhole Risers
Description:
a) This specification describes the minimum material and quality requirements for Polypropylene Manhole Riser units and appurtenances for use in the construction of highway and sewer improvements. The work in this section shall consist of providing polypropylene units which conform to the Chemung County requirements as laid out herein:
2. DESCRIPTION
a) The work in this section shall consist of the design, manufacture and delivery of Polypropylene Manhole Risers as shown on the Contract Documents and as ordered by the OWNER.
b) Polypropylene Manhole Risers shall be designed for an HS-25 highway loading.
c) The Fabricator shall submit shop drawings, bearing the approval and stamp of a registered Professional Engineer licensed to practice in the State of New York, of any and all items proposed to be furnished under this contract.
