Operation of the Municipal Marina

The City of Kingston is seeking a concessionaire to operate the municipal marina located along the Rondout Creek in Gallo Park. The length of the bulkhead available for the municipal marina space is approximately 1,285 feet, a space that may be sufficient to accommodate approximately 50 docking slips. The Municipal Marina shall have Thirty- Three (33) individual slips for transient boaters only and up to Fifteen (15) seasonal slips. The maximum stay for any one vessel shall be Fourteen (14) consecutive nights. Each year the operating season for the Municipal Marina commences on April 1st and continues through October 15th. The City of Kingston shall continue to own the marina. The city expects the concessionaire to maintain a high-quality amenity for the public. The city encourages proposers to implement customer service mechanisms that will enhance and maintain the satisfaction of patrons. These mechanisms should be outlined in each proposal. The concessionaire must be available for the removal of the docks after October 15th .
