At which time and place the bids will be opened (virtual via Zoom), and read aloud. All bidders and any other interested persons are invited to watch the virtual bid opening via Zoom. Late submittals will not be considered.
Whatcom County Flood Control Zone District (WCFCZD) requests bids for the Neevel Levee Cougar Creek Fish Passage project, CRP No. 720010. This project provides for the replacement of an existing culvert and floodgate with a 6 foot by 6 foot concrete box culvert and floodgate where Cougar Creek (aka Wiser Lake Creek) is conveyed through the Neevel Levee, installation of Engineered Log Jams (ELJs), levee improvements, habitat enhancement, and other associated work located near Northwest Drive, Ferndale, Washington, as further described in the bid documents.

There is an apprenticeship utilization minimum requirement of 15% of total labor hours for this contract.
A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held at 10:00 AM, Friday, February 7, 2025 onsite near 6861 and 6869 Northwest Drive Ferndale, WA (Parcel No. 390209508445).
Award will be made to the lowest qualified bidder. The WCFCZD reserves the right to reject any or all bids, and to waive any irregularities. The WCFCZD encourages disadvantaged, minority and women owned firms to respond.
