This Sources Sought Notice (SSN) is for informational gathering, market research and planning purposes only. This is NOT a solicitation announcement and neither constitutes a Request for Proposal (RFP), nor does it restrict any future acquisition strategies by the Northeastern Healthcare Operations Contracting Division (NEHO-CD). Information contained in the SSN is subject to change and nothing contained within is binding or obligates future actions by the Government. No contract will be awarded from this announcement. No reimbursement will be made for any cost associated with providing information in response to this SSN. Any information submitted by respondents is strictly voluntary. Respondents will not be notified of the results of the SSN. There will be no Request for Quote or Solicitation available for competitive proposals at the present time. Phone calls will not be accepted.
The Defense Health Agency’s Contracting Activity (DHA-CA), Northeastern Healthcare Operations Contracting Division (NEHO-CD), is conducting market research to provide laundry services for four medical treatment facilities (MTF). Services include dry clean, launder, wash and exchange various types of linen items. Services include linen exchange such as medical and dental uniform exchange. Participating facilities may include animal care facilities, commissary facilities, healthcare clinics, hospitals, medical centers, dental clinics, emergency rooms, laboratories, and all other healthcare related operations. The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, facilities, supervision, transportation, and other necessary services to perform the proper linen cleaning and exchange. Each facility shall be billed separately. Facilities with anticipated pounds of laundry are listed below:

Prospective participants are required to be registered and certified in the System for Award Management (SAM). Registration can be accessed via http://www.sam.gov.
Interested parties, may express their interest, and provide a capabilities statement products list NLT Monday, November 25, 2024 at 5:00 PM EST. A determination by the government not to compete this requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received as a result of this notice will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
Please submit non-proprietary information “Only”. The Government will not be responsible for proprietary, or competition sensitive information contained in responses received. Ensure that all replies to this notification incorporate the following information: company name, address, point of contact, Unique Entity ID, size of business pursuant to North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS).
Responses to this announcement will not be returned. Responders are solely responsible for all expenses associated with responding to this announcement. Government will not be financially responsible for information received in response to this announcement.
