Statement of Requirement
Title: EnSite X EP System
Department of Veterans Affairs, VISN 15, John Cochran VA Medical Center (VAMC), Medicine Service Line / Cardiology Department is seeking a Brand Name EnSite X EP System Upgrade

Purpose of the project:
Upgrade the equipment to be compatible with electrophysiology lab software. Along with the main electrophysiology Lab, this is needed to perform electrophysiology studies.

Background:
The Ensite Precision in our EP lab was installed 5/29/2014, which effectively makes this a 10-year-old system that will no longer support future software or hardware iterations. Ensite X Equipment. The Ensite Equipment was not EE tagged (EnSite S/N:14824021 Claris S/N:14399316 EP 4 touchscreen S/N:14362621 EP4Stim S/N:14394152 Amp S/N:14261497 CPU S/N:14278328) but installed in May of 2014.

Description of tasks and associated deliverables:
The EnSite X EP System is a catheter navigation and mapping system capable of displaying the 3-dimensional (3-D) position of conventional and Sensor-Enabled electrophysiology catheters, as well as displaying cardiac electrical activity as waveform traces and as dynamic 3-D isopotential maps of the cardiac chamber.

Unit has FDA clearance.
Meets all industry-recognized standards for visualization & navigation, in 3D space.
System to track, in real-time, the location of electrophysiology catheters within the cardiac structure.
System to utilize both direct contact & non-contact catheter technologies.
System to assist in recording the location of ablation lesions as applied by an ablation generator.
System to include software to incorporate models from CT/MR datasets for display on the system.
System to include software to incorporate a real-time model with a segmented CT or MR to facilitate navigation within the segmented geometry. (Fusion included with system)
System to include functionality to automatically create multiple models based on clinically relevant criteria.
System to include functionality to show activation data on any other map type.
System to support multiple mapping modalities, including impedance-based mapping and magnetic-based mapping.
System to be compatible with a variety of other medical devices, including ablation catheters and diagnostic catheters, allowing for seamless integration into existing electrophysiology workflows.
System to provide real-time tracking of the catheter and its position within the heart, enabling precise catheter placement and mapping.
System to feature a user-friendly interface that allows physicians to easily navigate and manipulate the 3D maps and control the mapping process.
System to must include data analysis tools that help physicians interpret the mapping data and make informed treatment decisions.
System to be used in a wide range of cardiac arrhythmia procedures.
System to be able to collect over 1,000,000 points

The new mapping system requires the recording system to have a higher capacity amplifier (120 channels) from its existing 56 channel.

EnSite X Assurance Elite is the bundling package for the following Software Expansion Modules (Advanced Software Mapping Licensure, EnSite Aid Module, LiveSync Module

The EnSite NavX platform is based on conventional sequential mapping. Case support will be provided until the Customer physicians are proficient. This proficiency typically occurs with the successful completion of twelve (12) to fifteen (15) procedures.
