Item Green Line CBTC Signal Upgrade

The existing Communications-Based Train Control (CBTC) system in service on the Greenline Subway-Surface Tunnel (GLSST) is approaching its end of life and SEPTA is planning for its replacement.

The current CBTC system was completed in 2005 as part of an upgrade from wayside signaling to a first generation Urbalis Flo system by Alstom. SEPTA envisions the Forum to provide preliminary details about the project and create excitement about this upcoming procurement.

This meeting offers an INFORMAL forum for questions.

The date of the event is Thursday, January 8, 2026 at 11:00 AM.
