Description:

NCWSA is seeking a licensed firm to provide engineering services for the Lake Murray Water Treatment Plant PFAS Removal Facilities Pilot Study and Design. A copy of the RFQ and the Emerging Contaminants Compliance Study are available for use in proposal preparation.

Pre-Bid Information:

NCWSA’s 2 MGD Lake Murray Water Treatment Plant utilizes South Carolina’s Lake Murray as its raw water source. UCMR5 data for Lake Murray indicates the presence of PFOA, PFOS, and HFPO-DA (GenX) at levels approaching or exceeding the MCL. NCWSA conducted an emerging contaminants compliance study identifying GAC as the most viable option for treating water to remove regulated PFAS compounds.
