Cordis US Corp PBS Carotid Stents & Embolic Products & Accessories

SUNY Upstate Medical University intends to purchase PP-CA-571 and Related Products from a contract awarded by Premier pursuant to its authority under section 163 (3) (vi), which authorizes the purchases of commodities from a consortium or comparable entity in lieu of using a centralized contract and without a formal competitive process when justified by price. Vendors who sell equivalent PBS Carotid Stents & Embolic Products and Accessories may, if interested, contact Honey-Beth Nelson at nelsonho@upstate.edu to discuss the procurement.

Equivalency must be demonstrated by meeting the clinical performance of the PBS Carotid Stents & Embolic Products and Accessories and Related Products. If offering a clinical equivalent, the vendor must provide free supporting clinical documentation, and equipment for examination, demonstration, and trial. Vendor must be authorized to see PP-CA-571 as listed on the Premier contract or approved equivalent.

This procurement is subject to NYS Finance Law §139 j&k, AKA the Lobbying Law. Therefore, vendors are cautioned that the only permissible contact for this procurement is the individual listed below.
