NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE

THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION - This posting serves as notification of the government¿s intent to issue a sole source purchase order.

In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 6.302-1, the Bureau of Land Management (BLM), Idaho State Office intends to award a sole source purchase order to Carlson Survey 2025 for software that will support the stewardship of Public Land Survey System (PLSS).

The Idaho BLM requires software to replace the outdated CAPD, it will integrate seamlessly with current and future Windows Operating Systems and perform geodetic computations using the same commands as CAPD.

This notice of intent is not a request for quote. If you believe your company can meet the requirement listed above, please contact Tom Parsons via email at tparsons@blm.gov prior to 10:00 am MT on July 25, 2025. Telephone responses and requests will not be accepted. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct competitive procurement.
