Residential Development

The Town of Rosthern is seeking proposals from qualified developers for the acquisition and development of Lot 21, a 0.808-hectare (2-acre) municipally owned property designated for residential use.

Situated within an established neighbourhood with convenient access to Highway 11, schools, and downtown amenities, the site is well suited for multi-unit, row housing, or other medium-density residential forms that align with the Town’s strategic priorities.

The Town encourages creative, high-quality development concepts that promote affordability, sustainability, and long-term community growth. The successful proponent will be responsible for all phases of the project, including planning, design, servicing, and construction, in accordance with Town requirements and applicable regulatory approvals.

All inquiries and requests for clarification must be submitted in writing to Cortney Larsen, CAO via email – cao@rosthern.com by 5:00 p.m. Friday, May 22, 2026. Responses to questions may be shared with all known proponents via an addendum.

Proposal Deadline

All proposals must be received by 12:00 p.m. on Monday, June 1, 2026. Late submissions will not be considered unless due to an error by the Town.
