PROFESSIONAL LEAK DETECTION SERVICES

BID OPENING ON MONDAY, NOVEMBER 17, 2025 AT 11:30 AM

ADVERTISEMENT

The City of East Providence (City) requests proposals from qualified vendors (Contractors) for Professional Leak Detection Services to be performed. The survey will cover the entirety of the City’s distribution system consisting of approximately 200 miles of water distribution mains. The intent of this survey is to reduce un-accounted water by pinpointing leaks in the distribution system, reporting leaks, and working with City personnel to confirm leaks have been resolved after repair efforts have been performed.

One (1) original, three (3) copies and one (1) thumb drive of the proposal shall be submitted in one (1) sealed envelope to the Controller’s Office, Attn: Procurement Specialist, Room 103, City Hall, 145 Taunton Ave., East Providence, RI 02914 no later than MONDAY, NOVEMBER 17, 2025 AT 11:30 AM. The bids will be publicly recorded. Bids received with a time of 11:31 AM or later will be rejected. The envelope needs to be marked BID EP24/25-030.

The City reserves the right to waive any informality to reject any or all the bids if deemed to be in the best interest of the City.
