Questions Recieved:

• How far in advance of an event must all requested units be delivered and fully placed? Depends on the event. Usually the event gives the contractor at least a week advance notice. If it is a big event like an airshow, it will be longer lead time for the notice.

• When following an event may the contractor begin removing the units? This is usually included in the event planning and forwarded to the contractor.

• Is there a required deadline for complete pickup/removal after the event ends? The only event that usually requires a specific deadline is an airshow. Others will let you know prior to the event if there are any timelines.

• Will the Government provide the exact event location, placement instructions, quantities, and service duration with each request? Yes, contractor will be notified in advance of the location, quantities, service and placement.
  
  


• The exact address, coordinates or designated access point for the Sooner Drop Zone, including any gate, escort or routing requirements. - The location will be provided on award of the contract, and access will require contact with Base OPS prior to arrival.

The 97th Contracting Squadron, Altus Air Force Base, Oklahoma, intends to issue a Request for Quote (RFQ) for acquisition of Chemical Toilet Services at Altus AFB, Oklahoma.

Any questions shall be submitted via email to the below points of contacts by 20th September at 1100 CST (11:00AM CST).

This contract is for non-personal services to the Government. The Contractor shall furnish all chemical toilets, parts, labor, tools, supplies, equipment, materials and management necessary to provide chemical toilet service at various areas located on Altus AFB and at the Sooner Drop Zone in Harmon County. The service also includes requests from the CES Contract Officer Representatives (COR) for any special event. Provide skilled personnel in compliance with industry standards to perform all work. This requirement will begin on 01 October 2026 and will have a 12-month base period with the possibility of four 12-month option periods. This acquisition will fall under the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 562991. This is a 100% Small Business Set Aside.

Prospective contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management Database (SAM) prior to submission of quotes. Offerors are further advised that failure to register in the DoD SAM prior to submission of proposal will render your firm ineligible for award. Registration requires applicants to have a DUNS number. Recommend registering immediately in order to be eligible for timely award.
