Sealed bids for ITB 25-006 EXIT 29 WATER PRODUCTION FACILITY & ELEVATED
STORAGE TANK: DIVISION II REBID - Thomas & Hutton No. J-30998.0000 - BGJWSC
No. 2216S will be received by the Brunswick-Glynn County Joint Water and Sewer
Commission at the JWSC¿s Office of the Procurement Director, 1703 Gloucester Street,
Brunswick, Georgia 31520 until 12:00 NOON EST, Thursday, March 6, 2025, at which time and
place they will be publicly opened and read aloud. No submitted bid may be withdrawn after the
scheduled closing time for receipt of bids for a period of sixty (60) days.
This project is funded by proceeds from the SPLOST 2022 referendum approved by Glynn County
voters during the General Election on November 8, 2022. The project location is 501 South Port
Parkway, Brunswick, Glynn County, GA, 31523. Divisions I and III, associated with well
improvements, water production facility, and miscellaneous piping were awarded on January 16th,
2025, by Brunswick-Glynn County Joint Water and Sewer Commission. No coordination between
Divisions I, II, and III is anticipated.
The Work for this division includes the construction of a 500,000-gallon elevated water storage
tank, site piping, fence work, approximately 1,100 LF of 12¿ distribution piping, grading, and
clearing, all as shown and specified. The work includes site preparation, clearing and grubbing,
access routes, piping, tank design, painting, all electrical, SCADA, concrete, and other accessories
as shown on the plans. Work shall include all labor, equipment, materials, appurtenances, and
incidentals required to complete this project.
