Central Region
The Metropolitan Transportation Plan (MTP) is a long-range transportation plan for the Mat-Su metropolitan area and is a statement of the ways the region plans to invest in the transportation system over no less than a 20- year planning horizon as of the effective date. The MTP will include a fiscally constrained list of projects to fulfill established policy goals. The Contractor shall perform the work described in the statement of services which includes research, long and short range transportation planning, travel demand model and traffic engineering, alternatives analysis, public involvement, and ultimately a final written deliverable. MTP must include all requirements of 23 CFR 450.324.
