Project Description: It is the intention of the City of Olathe, Kansas to establish a contract with contractor(s) for Debris Management Services for our Public Works Department through Requests for Proposals (RFP). Contractors will need to haul collected debris to the City of Olathe Compost Facility at 1100 Hedge Ln, Olathe, KS for disposal. Awarded contractor(s) shall perform covered services under the terms of this agreement. Services may be awarded to multiple vendors and will be on an as-needed-basis.
The service provider shall be ready, willing and able to perform non-emergency and emergency environmental response services.
The successful contractor shall provide all labor, materials and equipment required to complete the work. Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) financial assistance will be used to fund the contract. Contractor will be required to be familiar with applicable Federal, State, County, and Municipal laws, regulations, statutes, ordinances, executive orders, and directives including, but not limited to, the following: Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA), Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA), and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA).
