This Request for Proposals (the “RFP”) is an invitation by the Saskatchewan Power Corporation (“SaskPower”) to prospective proponents to submit proposals for the provision of the W1R Line Modification (138kV), as further described in the RFP Particulars (Appendix A) (the “ Work”).
SaskPower is a Saskatchewan Crown Corporation continued under The Power Corporation Act (Saskatchewan). It is principally responsible for the generation, transmission and distribution of electricity for most of Saskatchewan.
This project is required to complete the line modification for the portion of the Weyburn to Regina (138kV) transmission line that crosses Highway 39 northwest of Weyburn. The project includes replacing nine (9) D14 structures (D14-902, D14-006, and D14-009) along a new right-of-way, as well as stringing new conductor and new shield wire along sections of the line. The salvage portion of the project consists of salvaging the existing nine (9) structures, conductor, and shield wire being replaced.
