ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDDERS Sealed Bids will be received by the City of Canton, 110 Academy Street, Canton, GA 30114, until: 10:00 am on Thursday, April 10, 2025
For the Project known as: Ridge Pine Elevated Tank and Booster Pump Station
At which time and place the bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. Bids received after the designated time will not be considered and returned unopened.
The Project generally consists of the following major items:
1. Supply and installation of a 1.5 MG composite style elevated tank.
2. Supply and installation of a pump station inside the tank concrete column, which will include
three pumps not exceeding 50 HP, constant speed motors for each pump, all control
components, piping, and valving.
3. Supply and installation of approximately 700 feet of 16-inch DIP water line and all tie-ins of
water piping and electrical utilities.
4. Relocation and installation of a 200 kW diesel backup generator, with associated automatic
transfer switch.
5. Demolition and removal of the existing Ridge Pine Booster Pump Station.
6. Demolition and removal of the existing 0.5 MG Ground Storage Tank.
7. Demolition and removal of the existing K-Mart Booster Pump Station.
8. Decommissioning of the existing 0.2 MG Ridge Pine Elevated Storage Tank.
9. Pine Crest Drive improvements.
10. Site improvements including retaining wall installation, pavements and bioswales installation,
stormwater pipes installation, and landscaping.
11. All associated civil/sitework, piping, structural, electrical, and instrumentation work for the
completion of the project.
