APEX Accelerators are an official government contracting resource for small businesses. Find your local APEX Accelerator (opens in new window) for free government expertise related to contract opportunities.
APEX Accelerators are funded in part through a cooperative agreement with the Department of Defense.
The APEX Accelerators program was formerly known as the Procurement Technical Assistance Program (opens in new window) (PTAP).
The contractor shall remove outdated heating and electrical components and install new, fully functional systems tailored to each shelter’s needs. Work includes replacing the existing 10kW, 34K BTU electric heaters in Shelters 1 and 2; installing new non‑explosion‑proof light and fan switch kits (two‑switch assemblies) in all applicable shelters; and providing new explosion‑proof interior light assemblies in Shelters 2 and 3. All repairs must ensure the shelters meet operational requirements for the safe storage of petroleum, oil, and lubricants and restore reliable environmental control across the facility.
