Asphalt Services for Cherry Park Trail

The City of Rock Hill, South Carolina ("City") is seeking proposals from qualified companies to provide the City with asphalt paving services for identified areas of the Cherry Park Trail.

This project is funded in part by South Carolina Parks Recreation and Tourism (SCPRT) through the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA). Therefore, the Code of Federal Regulations 2 CFR 200 is applicable. Accordingly, the federal clauses in Attachment A are required to be included. If any federal clauses are inconsistent with provisions found elsewhere in City documents and are irreconcilable with such provisions, the requirements in Attachment A “FHWA Contract Provisions” will prevail to the extent that they are applicable.

Note: Davis-Bacon is not applicable to this project.

Cherry Park's 2.5-mile trail system is 10 feet wide with an asphalt surface, making it ideal for multi-use recreation for pedestrians and cyclists. Approximately 3,000 people use the trail monthly, which includes an outside loop with internal trail connections. Much of the 1.5-mile outside trail loop is in need of renovation. Areas have been identified and listed in this solicitation.
