Solicitation Summary
Contractor shall have a licensed master electrician in the State of Maryland and been in business for 5 years. There is no subcontracting.
Invitation to bid on electrician services for three SHA facilities in Queen Anne’s County: Centreville Maintenance Shop, Stevensville Satellite Facility, and the Kent Narrow Bridge Tender House. There are some renovation, repair, maintenance, and expansion projects. 120V and 240V single phase will cover most all the work. A work crew will consist of one licensed journeyman electrician and one licensed apprentice electrician. Please no unlicensed helpers. SHA is trying to support the apprentice program. Payment cannot be made until services are rendered. While this prohibits a deposit or upfront payment, SHA can buy direct materials for the contractor to use, so long as any excess material is left with SHA.
