Project Background: Develop Drilled Well #3 at Hocking Hills State and attach to existing raw water feed line
Specifications/Scope of Work
Shipping costs must be included in the cost of the items.
All equipment used on-site shall be free of sediment and debris from off-site to minimize the introduction of invasive species. Any timber matting used shall be new. Previously used matting will not be permitted .

Provide and install pit less adapter and related items necessary to connect well pump to raw water supply line
Provide and install well piping, pump, check valve and related wiring in well
Provide and install piping and valving to connect well #3 to existing raw water line at well #2
Provide and install electrical wiring and transfer switch and connections as specified in drawings
Provide concrete pad and removable bollards at well head
Pump specification's: Submersible, Stainless steel, Goulds 65L10, 65 GPM flow rate, Design TDH 450 feet, motor 10 HP 3 phase 60 Hz 208 volts
Pump will use existing pump controls
Vendor is responsible to supply all supplies, materials, and labor
Vendor is responsible for site cleanup and restoration
Work time is restricted to daylight hours
Work completion date is April 30, 2025
  1. Install double throw disconnect switch and electric feed to well pump #3
  2. Install pitless adapter, well pump, check valve, wiring, and pipe in well.
  3. Install 4” pipe, Y adapter, Gate valves and valve boxes to tie into existing raw well line.
  4. Install 4-foot concrete pad around well casing to drain water away from well head.
  5. Install 2 removable bollards at well.

Site Visit & Point of Contact
Prior to submitting a bid response, offerors are encouraged to visit the site Located in the campground located at 19852 State Route 664 South, Logan, Ohio 43138. Contact person on site is Eric Borchers cell 740-253-5865.
Once a contract is awarded, failure of the bidder to have requested a site visit to become familiar with the facility and requirements of the bid will be insufficient reason to support any request to be released from the contract.
Project Award
For bids involving service projects on DNR property, the lowest apparent bidder will be required to provide 2 examples of similar completed projects including photos.  Provide the person’s name,   organization name, phone number and email address for each project example.  In addition, the bidder must complete a pre-award meeting with appropriate DNR staff to ensure that the materials and scope are mutually understood.
Evaluation. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder as determined by the State.
Contract Award. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder by low lot total.  Low lot total will be determined by multiplying the unit cost by the estimated usage listed in the bid and then adding each of the totals together to arrive at a total for all items. Failure to bid all items may result in the bidder being deemed not responsive.
