I83 Widening Sewer Relocation

Project Description: Sealed bids for the relocation of existing sanitary sewer lines affected by the widening of I83 and the abandonment of the sections rendered inactive by the new alignment will be received online via the PennBid Program (https://pennbid.bonfirehub.com) by Manchester Township, York, Pennsylvania until 10:00 AM, Thursday, March 5, 2026.
The bids will be publicly opened and read electronically, via PennBid’s website, at 10:00 AM (prevailing time), same date. Bid results will be available end of business day, same date.
Copies of Bidding Documents for I83 Widening Sewer Relocation are available online and at no cost via the PennBid Program at https://pennbid.bonfirehub.com.
NOTE: The Supervisors of Manchester Township have authorized C.S. Davidson, Inc., to act on their behalf by opening bids. Contracts will be awarded at a regularly scheduled meeting of Manchester Township.
A bid bond by acceptable surety or a certified check made payable to Manchester Township in the amount of 5% of the maximum bid must be provided by each bidder with their bid.
A pre-bid conference will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, February 23, 2026, at the Manchester Township Municipal Office, located at 3200 Farmtrail Road, York, PA 17406-5699. Bidder attendance is not mandatory.
Each bidder must be prepared to submit evidence of his qualifications to perform the work.
Notice is hereby given to bidders that this project is subject to the provisions of the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act approved August 15, 1961 (Act No. 442, P.L. 987), as amended.
The Contract Time for this project is one hundred fifty (150) calendar days.
Manchester Township reserves the right to accept any bid or reject any or all bids.
