Notice to Contractors:

which time they will be publicly opened and read in the Town Meeting Room of the Killingly

Sodium Bisulfite, Delivery
The Town of Killingly hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively insure that in any
contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, any disadvantaged business enterprises will
be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation, and that they will not be
discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, national origin or sex in consideration for an
award.
Specifications for the above project may be examined in the Killingly Engineering Office located
at 172 Main Street or the Towns website
www.killingly.gov/departments/finance/pages/bids_and_rfps.php or the CTSource website
https://portal.ct.gov/DAS/CTSource/ctsource. Only one unaltered proposal will be submitted to
the Town.
All bidders are required to inform themselves fully of the conditions relating to supplying the
equipment specified, construction and labor under which the work will be or is now being
performed. The Contractor shall employ, as far as possible, such methods and means in the
carrying out of this work and will not cause interruption or interference with any other Contractor.
The Town of Killingly reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive informalities and
technical defects, and to award a contract, if at all, to the lowest responsible and qualified
bidder as determined by the Town of Killingly, in its sole discretion to be in the Town’s best
interests.
