The Commodity Futures Trading Commission ("CFTC") intends to negotiate and award a sole-source purchase order for the procurement of cable television and internet service from Charter Communications Holdings LLC, doing business as Spectrum. The address for these services is 290 Broadway, 6th Floor, New York, NY 10007. The Government intends to procure this requirement under RFO 12.102 and 41 U.S.C. 1901 the services needed by the agency are available from only one responsible source and no other type of services will satisfy the needs of the agency. CFTC intends to award a purchase order for these services for one year.
Spectrum is the only vendor that offers both television and internet service at the noted service address, and CFTC knows of no alternative source that can meet the requirements.
THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS nor a solicitation of offers. However, the Government will consider written responses from all responsible sources received by 12:00 PM ET, May 1, 2026. Written responses must include sufficient information to establish capability to fulfill the requirement. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed requirement is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purposes of Market Research for future requirements. No formal solicitation package is available. The Government will not be responsible for any costs of preparation in response to this announcement.
