NOTICE TO BIDDERS

The City of Lathrop (“City”), will accept sealed bids for the construction of public improvements for its WATER METER GATEWAY TOWER, CIP PW 26-30 (Project), at City of Lathrop, California (“City”). Sealed bids will be received at the office of the City Clerk of the City of Lathrop, located at 390 Towne Centre Drive, Lathrop, CA until 2:00 PM Wednesday, October 28, 2026. Bids submitted by mail shall be addressed to: City of Lathrop, Attention City Clerk, 390 Towne Centre Drive, Lathrop, CA 95330 and conform to Submission of Bids standards within this Section. The bids will be publicly opened and read at 2:00 PM Wednesday, October 28, 2026.

Contractors considering bidding on this project are encouraged to attend the pre-bid meeting to be held on Thursday, October 8, 2026 at 2:00 PM at 2908 Hemsworth Court Lathrop, CA.

The Project is located at 2908 Hemsworth Court Lathrop, CA. The work to be performed under this contract is generally described as but not necessarily limited to provision and construction of a steel data transmission tower, including drilled concrete pier with concrete pad, installation of city-furnished equipment cabinet, installation of electrical and communication conduits, and provision of CA engineer-stamped plans and specifications for the tower and the tower footing.

DIR Registration. Bidder must submit proof of DIR Registration with Bid Proposal, no exceptions. Pursuant to Labor Code Section 1725.5, all Subcontractors identified in a Bidder’s Subcontractors’ List shall be DIR Registered Contractors. If awarded the Contract for the Work, at all times during performance of the Work, the Bidder and all Subcontractors, of any tier, shall be a DIR Registered Contractors

Each Bid Proposal submitted to the City must be submitted in accordance with the instructions and requirements provided in the Instructions to Bidders.
