INVITATION FOR BIDS BAT CENTER BATHROOM RENOVATION

The Brockton Area Transit Authority (BAT) is soliciting bids from qualified firms to provide all equipment, materials and labor to renovate bathrooms at the BAT Center as described in the bid solicitation documents.

This project is being electronically bid. All bids must be prepared and submitted online through Projectdoc.com. Hard copy bids will not be accepted by the Awarding Authority.

Bid Forms and Contract Documents will be available electronically at no cost on Projectdoc.com under Project ID #261174, beginning Wednesday July 29, 2026 at 9:00 AM.

A non-mandatory pre-bid conference will be held at 11:00AM on August 6, 2026 at the BAT Administration offices at 155 Court Street, Brockton, MA 02302. A project site tour and inspection will follow.

Filed sub-bids are due by 2:00 PM on August 18, 2026. Sealed bids for the General Contract are due by 2:00PM on August 27, 2026. Bids must be submitted on the required forms and accompanied by the required certifications and a Bid Deposit equal to 5% of the bid amount. This solicitation is subject to M.G.L. c 149, Secs., 44A-H & J and Massachusetts Prevailing Wage and Federal Davis Bacon Wage Rates.

BAT may reject any bids when required to do so by the above referenced statute or waive any informality if it determines it to be in the public interest to do so.

The award of this contract is contingent on the availability of funds from the U.S. Department of Transportation, Federal Transit Administration, and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs) are encouraged to respond to this solicitation.
