Wireless Intercom and Radio Interface Equipment
The Laconia Police Department invites qualified vendors to submit proposals for the supply
of SETCOM wireless communications equipment, including LiberatorMAX Wireless Headset
Intercom Systems and Motorola APX 6000 radio interface accessories. The Department seeks
a complete solution that meets the requirements and specifications outlined in this Request
for Proposal.
Submissions
Interested firms are encouraged to submit two (2) proposals in a sealed envelope to the
City of Laconia Purchasing Department, 45 Beacon Street East, Laconia, NH 03246 by
2:30pm on Thursday 08/13/2026 to be considered. Submissions must be labeled "RFP
No. 26-08-14P Wireless Intercom and Radio Interface Equipment" Postmarks and other
timestamps will not be accepted in lieu of actual delivery to be considered. Emailed
submissions will not be accepted.
The City of Laconia reserves the right to accept or reject any and/or all proposals or any
part thereof, to waive any formality in the process, and to accept the proposal considered
to be in the best interest of the City. Failure to submit all information called for may be
sufficient grounds for disqualification. The City of Laconia reserves the right to cancel
this Request for Proposals at any time for any reason.
Questions and Addenda
All questions regarding this RFP must be submitted in writing via email no later than
4:00 PM on August 4, 2026, to kbullerwell@laconianh.gov.
Responses to questions and any resulting addenda will be posted on the City of Laconia
website at https://www.laconianh.gov/Bids.aspx no later than August 6, 2026.
It is the responsibility of all proposers to check the website for issued addenda prior to
submission.
Scope of Supply
The Contractor shall provide the following SETCOM communication equipment or
approved equivalent that is fully compatible with the specified radio platform.

The proposed solution shall include the following equipment:

* Compatibility Requirement: Must provide full operational compatibility with
Motorola APX 6000 portable radios.
Vendor Requirements
* All equipment shall be new, unused, and current production models.
* Equipment shall be supplied with all components necessary for full functionality and
operation.
* Vendor shall provide manufacturer warranty information with the proposal.
* Vendor shall include lead times, shipping costs, and any required accessories.
* Any proposed equivalent products must meet or exceed the specifications and
performance of the equipment listed above.

Unless specifically amended or deleted by the Purchasing Office, the following General Terms and Conditions apply to this RFP and any resulting
Purchase Order or Contract.
GENERAL TERMS AND CONITIONS:
RFP'S. Proposals must be received at the Purchasing Office before contract or order, representatives of the City of Laconia shall incur
the date and time specified. Proposals are to be made less Federal no liability of any kind.

Proposals will be made available to the public after the time of PROOF OF COMPLIANCE. The responding vendor may be required to
