Solicitation Summary

MDOT SHA Easton Shop in Talbot County on the Eastern Shore is soliciting bids for towing serivces. There are three categories: light, medium, and heavy duty. The rates are in terms of hours. There is no flat fee, show up fee, minimum, mileage, or gasoline surchages. The only line items on SHA's BPO to you will be the 6 line items on the price form. These are the rates we agree to. Please include all your costs in these hourly rates.

There is normal rates and overtime / emergency rates. The normal rates are for Monday through Friday from 6:30 AM to 3PM, when this SHA facility is open. The overtime or emergency rates are for any times outside of this window or during a snow storm, hurricane, or other major weather event. Sometimes this higher rate is invoked, but usually it's the regular hours.

This is a small business reserve procurement. There is no subcontracting. You have to own your tow trucks and they be registered to your company.
