PROSPECT PARK PERGOLA ADA IMPROVEMENTS

The Town of Shrewsbury invites sealed bids for ADA Improvements at the Prospect Park Pergola. All contractors must submit bids in conformance with this Invitation for Bids and the related documents which shall be available online at www.shrewsburyma.gov/bids and also in the Town Manager’s Office at 100 Maple Avenue in Shrewsbury.

The scope of work is as follows: grading and site work for the construction of approximately 2900 square feet of ADA compliant stabilized aggregate pedestrian and vehicular pathways and the installation of a 380 square foot ADA compliant fundraising brick walkway located in the historic Garden of Sweet Remembrance at Prospect Park in Shrewsbury.

Work must be completed by September 11, 2026.

This Invitation for Bids shall be governed by the requirements of MGL Ch. 30, § 39M.

Bids will be received in the Town Manager’s Office at 100 Maple Avenue in Shrewsbury, MA until 1:00 PM on August 18, 2026, at which time they will be opened publicly and read aloud.

Bids must be sealed and marked “Bid for Prospect Park Pergola ADA Improvements” with the bidder’s name and address clearly noted.

A bid deposit in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total bid shall accompany the Bid and be made payable to the Town of Shrewsbury.

The Town reserves the right to waive any minor informalities in the bids and to reject any and all bids if it shall be deemed in the best interests of the Town to do so.
